Healing should be accessible for anyone regardless of income or status. The goal of The Barefoot Philosophy is to be able to empower teachers of specific trades and create a safe space to offer different healing modalities to the community. We believe everything is magic if it is done with intention. Our goal is to educate the community on how to get to the root of their healing journey. As of now, nothing of this sort exists. The idea is to not profit off the sick and dying. The idea is to empower, educate and grow together. We are only as strong as our weakest links. We have filed our DBA and non profit paperwork and our pending approval. It is not cheap to start something from scratch so we take one time and reoccurring donations. We appreciate every donation regardless of the quantity.

Regardless if you’re in the airline industry or just a frequent flier/traveler, this is the cook book for you. There is a list broken down into 3 categories (green, yellow, red ) to better help fit your goals, whether that be losing weight or just generally improving your health. There’s either a vegan or gluten free option for every snack or meal, so if you choose to throw in your own high quality meat it won’t throw off the integrity of the recipe.

Thank you Julie for coming out with the PERFECT cookbook for those of us who are always on the go. Meal prepping has been a normal part of my week since I started flying 5 years ago, and it just drives me nuts. Anything to make that easier and more HEALTHY... sign me up!!!

Thank you, to Julie for creating this! She has recipes for everyone, with food restrictions, etc. I personally don’t have any, but I’ve struggled with cooking, meal prepping, and eating healthy in general while on the go. I’m a flight attendant myself and it can be one of the hardest parts of the job, especially with the current social climate, you can’t always find something to eat during certain hours. Our jobs don’t have a lot of give when it comes to time and space for packing enough food or finding somewhere to get something fast AND healthy!

I love the creativity that meets this very real need! How do you eat healthy on the go with limited resources? The book may be for flight attendants but really works for anyone like business travelers that have weird hours and are tired of ordering pizza and even teachers.

"Julie is incredible!!! I went to her for an intuitive reading a few weeks ago and she was so helpful and insightful. I just got an overall good vibe from her. She is so honest and down to earth, you can tell she really enjoys what she does... and she's so incredibly good at it too! Her advice is always from the heart- never forced or fake. 
I also own two of her festival crochet tops and they are so cute, comfortable and durable!!! I've worn them both to go out to festivals and on the beach/ in lakes. They've held up beautifully!!!
Everyone should come here for all their reiki needs! Both in Salt Lake City and beyond! (I live in NYC so I mostly deal with her long distance).

​21 day challenge complete! My boyfriend and I went in strong and we were looking to cut out meat, lose weight and get overall better at monitoring what we’re putting in our bodies. It took awhile for me to realize that it wasn’t just a diet to quickly shed some covid weight but it actually has changed the way we think about food.
Phil (the bf) is way more active than I am so I for him it was more about eating whereas I had to focus on both. I needed to move around more while being conscious about my eating habits. He lost 10pounds and I lost 8! He lost inches all over and my inches were off my tummy and boobs. Why they gotta take the boobs and not the thighs?!
We got into new habits for work which meant 2 hard boiled eggs, half an avocado and a small handful of berries every morning. A salad for lunch. Apple and almond butter for a snack and something more veggie creative for dinner. It was easy to keep up because I love to cook and did a lot of meal prep for us.
Julie was amazing throughout it all and we’re going back for another 21 days in January!! Honestly haven’t felt this great in a long time and super excited to try out more recipes that focus on being plant based (which is just what we’re trying it’s not for everyone)
I’m too shy to post pics of the before and after so here’s a pic of us today walking 5miles to Brooklyn for a reward slice from our fave pizza spot!
